Firstly, What is Qigong ?

Qigong (pronounced “Chee Gung”) is an ancient Chinese health exercise. It develops your Qi (pronounced “Chee”) to strengthen your body and cure illness. The exercises stimulate the acupuncture points, channels and the flow of Qi. When the Qi is strong and flows smoothly then the body will be healthy and the mind calm and clear. Essential for a long and healthy life.

Coming out of the summer (Heart energy) we move on towards the Indian Summer (Spleen (and Stomach) organ). Now is time to prepare these latter organs for the rest of the year.

Here are some good ways to do that.

  • Stop Stressing
  • Do 30 Minutes of Walking a Day, 5 Days a Week
  • Eating Easily Digestible Foods that stimulate the spleen & stomach
  • Eat in a peaceful, relaxed, quiet environment
  • Do some Qi Gong

What you will get out of this workshop:

  • Good Breathing
  • Cleansing Warm-ups for joints and muscles.
  • Mindfulness Breathing Meditation.
  • Working on simple Qigong Exercises for Spleen Health, improving digestion, muscle strength, blood production, water metabolism.
  • Harmonise your body-mind.
  • Feel grounded with a sense of well-being.
  • Induced Qi Flow Standing Meditation that will adjust and balance your Qi energy.
  • Daoist healing sounds meditation for the spleen and stomach.
  • Foods that nourish these organs
